I have my PS3 connected to my TV through my AV Amp via HDMI, but unfortunately the Amp wont pass through the PS3's FULL RGB signal, resulting in the blacks being dark green, which is slightly annoying.
Options available, connect the PS3 direct to the TV,(best picture but no HD sound), or use the existing setup, (HD sound but iffy picture), or get a splitter.
This little beauty solved the problem,I just plugged it in and away we go, no more than a minute to set up. PS3 connected to the input, one output to the TV, the other to the Amp, thus eliminating the Amp's signal pass through problem.
So I now have the best of both, best picture as the splitter allows the FULL RGB signal to pass through to the TV, and HD sound as the PS3 is also connected to the Amp.
Top notch bit of kit, delivered next day, with the peace of mind of a no quibble return policy if its not compatible, which was the main deciding factor for me as I was unsure whether the splitter would pass through the FULL RGB signal, because lets face it, the £300 Amp I was using didn't!!......
Great compact splitter, which comes with a seperate power supply for ensuring compatibility with whatever kit you're going to use.
I've just upgraded to Full HD and looked around for quite a while in order to ensure I got the most of my new kit. Having both Full HD 40" TV & Full HD Projector(80" image), I wanted to be able to switch between any source to any output, i.e. independantly control what I watch on either TV or projector, so needing lots of cables and splitters I required top end stuff. Neet supply a full range of HDMI & DVI cables along with amps/splitters & switches. This kit does the bussines and not only meets my present need but superceeds all the standards for Full HD available now. Would highly recommend.......
Great little product - 2 outputs being the seller. I now have my Xbox on two tv's one for me and one for missus so no more arguing - just bought another for the PS3!! Simply plug and play. Don't forget you will need three HDMIs for this product but they are going pretty cheap now. Separate power source is no issue just used an adapter and its so small I velcro'd (sic) it to the side of the power brick. ......
This is a brilliant device. It does exactly what it says straight out of the package with no problems. No setup, just plug and go.
I used it to split the output from a Humax Foxsat-HDR to a Panasonic TV and SA-BX500.
Two LEDs (which are rather bright) indicate the status of each output.
No instructions - but it doesn't need them.
I can highly recommend this.
